What are Nano Brows?

Nano Brows is the latest PMU technique available where instead of using a handheld blade to individually inject small amounts of pigment into the upper layer of the eyebrow skin tissue, you instead use a handheld machine with a very small needle to do controlled injection of the pigment into the upper layer of the eyebrow skin tissue to create fine hair-like designs.

Nano Brows have many advantages with an experienced PMU artist doing them; such as perfect lines that can be drawn effortlessly on the skin, reduced risk of scarring, high quality beautiful designs.

What is the difference between Microblading and Nano Brows?

• Microblading is a PMU technique where we use a collection of around 10-16 fine needles configured into a blade shape to carefully cut into the skin to add pigment, creating detailed lines and shapes that gives you natural-looking designed eyebrows.

• Nano Brows are done by using a machine with a single fine needle to carefully add pigment into the eyebrow skin tissue with a rotating upwards and downwards movement of the needle. It is similar to that of a tattoo machine but no where as deep and painful as a traditional tattoo. Nano Brows are only done on numbed upper-layer of the skin-tissue and start fading away after a few years unlike tattoos that are done deeper to remain on the skin for decades. Nano Brows also have a faster healing time compared to Microblading, as there is less direct contact with the skin.

If you want a more finer line eyebrow design, then Nano Brows is recommended over Microblading. How long do Nano Brows last?

Generally, Nano Brows last between 2-5 years. Please note that results vary depending on the client's skin type, aftercare and lifestyle. Each client will react differntly to the pigment. Some skin types retain pigments better than others but on average most clients need a touch-up session every 12-24 months to maintain the shape and color.

Is the Nano Brows procedure painful?

Most of our clients feel no pain, some even fall asleep during the procedure because we use a high quality ecological friendly localized topical anesthetic to ensure your eyebrow skin is sterilized and numb before we start. At most you may feel some pressure, pressure and mild pricking sensation.

After the procedure, redness and slight swelling in the area are normal wich should subside after a couple of days. Clients describe the feeling similar to a light sunburn.

Do Nano Brows eyebrows look "natural"?

Yes our PMU experts have been in the business for over 10 years and developed the best techniques to achieve "natural-looking" eyebrows. Your eyebrows will look more natural than your own conventional makeup. Unless you tell somebody you have had PMU done on your eyebrows, they will never know.

How long does the Nano Brows procedure take?

Procedure time can slightly vary depending on each client's skin type. But on average the procedure time is approximately 2-2.5 hrs.
