Please read our studio terms and conditions of booking. By booking your service with Iconbrows you agree to these terms of service and studio policies.

Studio Booking Policies

Booking Requirements

A valid credit card and booking deposit is required to secure your appointment. HST is not applied to the booking deposit but to the completed appointment. We accept cash and all major credit cards for the remaining balance. All transactions are final and no refunds will be issued.

During a flash sale period, full payment is required and this cannot be refunded or transferred.

If the service is paid in full when booking, it will not be refundable.

Rates are subject to change at any time.

Cancellations & Refunds

We fully understand that unforeseen emergencies can occur at any time and your well-being is one of our highest priorities, but we can and will reserve the right to enforce our cancellation policy where it becomes a recurring event on one or more occasions. If you cancel within 48 hours of your appointment, or are a no-show or give no notice, all payments will be forfeited.

Please notify us before 48 hours of your appointment date and time when cancelling your appointment. You are allowed 1 free re-scheduling if done 48 hours before your appointment. After the 1st time, you will be required to pay a rescheduling fee.

Due to the nature of our services, once a treatment has been carried out, we do not offer any refunds.

Rescheduling & Late Arrivals

Late arrivals can impact your service and unfairly delay the appointment start times of the guests after you. We reserve the right to cancel the appointment if you arrive more than 20 minutes into the appointment, and in this situation all payments will be forfeited. An additional booking fee will be required to reschedule your appointment if you arrive late.

Please notify us before 48 hours of your appointment date and time when rescheduling your appointment. You are allowed 1 free re-scheduling if done 48 hours before your appointment. After the 1st time, you will be required to pay a rescheduling fee.

Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse our services to anyone demonstrating aggressive or inappropriate behaviour towards our staff or other guests. We reserve the right to refuse our services should we consider any illegal, illicit or deceitful behaviour at any point. We reserve the right to refuse our services at any point.

Visitors, Family & Pets

To ensure we maintain limited exposure and a clean, sterile environment, we require our clients to arrive alone to their appointments. That means no friends, husbands, wives, boyfriends, girlfriends, children or grand-children may stay inside with you during your appointment. There are multiple venues and locations nearby outside our building where they may wait while you finish your appointment.

Client Health

All clients must be in good health at the time of their appointment. Please ensure you read the information for your service, as deposits will not be refunded for contraindicated medical conditions.

If you have any medical conditions which may impact your service and aftercare, you must notify us immediately. You may be contacted by our staff and asked to obtain medical clearance and a note from your primary care physician before being approved for your service.

Informed Consent

By booking your appointment you agree to the service terms and conditions, that you have read the contraindications, and that you have understood and given honest information about your own health and viability for the service.

We reserve the right to take photographs or videos before, during and/or after the service treatment for client record keeping, internal review and any other purposes. We reserve all copyrights and ownership of these images or videos.

If we find that you have been deceitful, not fully forthright, or incomplete with your health disclosure, we reserve the right to cancel your appointment and your booking deposit will be forfeit.

Aftercare

Following the aftercare instructions provided is essential for the best, longest-lasting results. Iconbrows is not responsible for results affected by a failure to follow the aftercare guidance for your service.

Cosmetic Tattoo Policies

All cosmetic tattoo treatments are considered a multiple-step process. Healed results will vary for each client. Although we give our best efforts to provide you with quality service, we cannot guarantee exact results. Many factors can result in a less than desired outcome, and we cannot control how an individual's skin heals. In order for your brows, scalp and/or lash line to look their very best, it is crucial to follow all pre-care restrictions and aftercare instructions. These instructions are given to limit bleeding and skin sensitivities during the service. If the instructions are not followed, expelling of the pigment can occur and lead to poor results.

Perfecting Touch Up

Our Cosmetic Tattoo or PMU services include an initial service and a follow-up appointment. This appointment must be scheduled within the suggested window following your first appointment. If you book it after the suggested window you may be required to pay an additional fee. Every individual has a different healing process, so we encourage clients to come in for their Perfecting Touch Up appointment as scheduled. If additional touch ups are needed, fees will apply.

Returning Client for Re-Touch & Boost

If you have had your eyebrows serviced by us, we recommend that you return for a re-touch and boost appointment once every year or year and a half to ensure your eyebrows look as best as possible. The re-touch and boost appointment can be booked online and does not come with an additional touch up appointment.

Existing Brow, Scalp or Lash Line Tattoos

If you have had your eyebrows, eyelash line or scalp treatment done at other studios, salons or artists, we recommend that you contact us before booking the New Client Cover-Up / Correction service to determine your eligibility for treatment. Please take a clear, makeup-free photo of the treatment area in natural light and send it to info@iconbrows.ca with any necessary information so we can assess your viability for treatment. Please allow 1 to 2 business days for a response.

Terms of Service

By accessing or using our website, booking services, or participating in procedures, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By booking an appointment, submitting forms, or using our website, you confirm that you:

  • Are at least 18 years of age (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction).
  • Have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service.
  • Consent to the collection and use of your personal information as outlined in our Privacy Policy.

2. Services Overview

Iconbrows Professional Microblading and Eyebrow Perfection specializes in permanent makeup services, including but not limited to:

  • Microblading
  • Microshading
  • Nanoblading
  • Nanoshading
  • Cosmetic tattooing (eyebrows, eyeliner, hairline)
  • Touch-ups and corrections
  • Eyebrow Services
  • Eyelash Services

Note: Results may vary based on skin type, aftercare, and individual health factors.

3. Health and Safety

Health Disclosure: You must disclose any medical conditions, allergies, medications (e.g., blood thinners), pregnancy, or history of keloid scarring prior to your appointment.

Contraindications: We reserve the right to refuse service if a procedure poses a health risk.

Aftercare: Compliance with aftercare instructions is mandatory. Failure to follow guidelines may affect results and void touch-up guarantees.

4. Liability and Risks

Informed Consent: Permanent makeup involves inherent risks, including allergic reactions, infection, or dissatisfaction with results. By proceeding, you acknowledge these risks.

Limitation of Liability: We are not liable for:

  • Unsatisfactory results due to individual healing processes or aftercare negligence.
  • Complications arising from undisclosed health conditions.
  • Costs of corrective procedures by third parties.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on our website (images, logos, descriptions) is owned by Iconbrows Professional Microblading and Eyebrow Perfection and protected by copyright laws. Unauthorized use is prohibited.

6. Termination

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of revised terms.

7. Governing Law

This agreement shall be construed and enforced in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario.

SMS / Text Messaging Disclosure

If you provide your mobile phone number and opt in to receive SMS / text messages from us, you agree to the following:

1. Types of Messages

You may receive the following types of SMS / text messages:

  • Transactional Messages: Service-related notifications (e.g., appointment confirmations, appointment reminders, appointment updates).
  • Informational Messages: Surveys, feedback requests, or policy updates.
  • Promotional Messages: Marketing offers, discounts, or updates (if you explicitly opt in).

2. Texting Cadence

Message frequency varies based on your interactions with our services. For promotional campaigns, you can expect up to 2 messages per month. Transactional messages are sent as needed to fulfill service requests.

3. Message and Data Rates

Standard message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier and plan. We are not responsible for charges incurred from SMS / text messages.

4. Privacy Policy

Your phone number and related data are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available at https://iconbrows.ca/info/privacy. We do not share your phone number with third parties for their marketing purposes.

5. Opt-Out Instructions

You may opt out of SMS / text messages at any time by:

  • Replying STOP to any message.
  • Contacting us at support@iconbrows.ca.
  • Adjusting preferences in your account settings.
