The most common question from first-time clients is whether threading hurts more or less than waxing. The honest answer: most people find threading more tolerable because it does not strip the surface layer of skin the way wax does. The sensation is a rapid, light snap along the skin that fades immediately. Clients on acne medications, retinoids, or any product that sensitises the skin should strongly prefer threading for this reason.
Threading is also the more precise tool. A wax strip covers a broad area and the edges can drift. A thread follows exactly the line your brow expert draws, which means cleaner arches, sharper edges, and less cleanup tweezing between appointments.
