What an Eyelash Lift Actually Does
An eyelash lift in Toronto is the technically accurate name for what is sometimes called a keratin lash lift or a lash perm. At Iconbrows we use a silicone rod to reshape each natural lash from the base, holding it in a lifted, curled position while a keratin-infused solution sets the shape permanently into the lash. The result is your own lash, lifted, open and defined, lasting 6 to 8 weeks without any extensions.
The key difference between an eyelash lift and older lash perming techniques is the formula and the tools. We use silicone pads rather than the old rigid rods, and the keratin solution conditions the lash while it works rather than stripping it. Clients with previously damaged lashes often notice their lashes feel healthier after a few regular lift appointments.
