calm and encouraging the whole way through

i was pretty anxious going in because i'm a perfectionist and i was scared of messing up on a real person. the instructor was so calm about everything, it helped settle my nerves a lot. left feeling way more confident than i expected.

so much better than online courses

i looked into a few online programs before booking this and i'm really glad i went in person. there's no substitute for someone watching your hand and telling you what to fix in real time. the live model day sealed it for me.

worth every penny honestly

i almost talked myself out of it because of the cost but looking back that feels ridiculous. i've already made back a significant chunk of what i spent just from practicing on people in my building who wanted their brows done before summer. the certification is included, the kit is included, the live model practice is included... it's a full package. thank you Tara!! 🥰

took it after having my second baby

i was looking for something i could turn into a flexible income after my second baby and a friend recommended this. the course was so well paced, nothing felt rushed. i appreciated that it was a small group because i had questions i probably wouldn't have asked in a big classroom. Tara took her time with everyone and adjusted to how each person was picking things up. i've been practicing at home and i already have a few people from my neighbourhood booked in. it's given me something that's mine again and that means a lot right now ❤️

good experience, learned a lot

solid course, well structured and the instructor clearly knows what she's talking about. i came in knowing nothing about brow mapping and left understanding it properly. would recommend it.

changed what i thought was possible for me

i came in with zero background in aesthetics, just a lot of interest and some nerves. Tara has a way of explaining things that makes the technique feel logical rather than mysterious. she showed us the why behind every step which helped me remember it all way better than if i'd just been copying movements. the live model practice was genuinely the most valuable part, you can watch a demo a hundred times but doing it yourself is different. i walked out of there feeling like i had actually learned a skill, not just attended a class. i've done two sets of brows on friends since finishing and both came out beautifully.

real feedback not just praise

what i appreciated most was that the feedback was actual feedback. not just "great job" but specific things to adjust and why. that's how you actually improve. i feel properly prepared to work on clients which is all i wanted from this.

finally did it and i'm so glad

i kept putting this off for two years telling myself i'd do it "when the time was right." took the fusion and microblading course last month and honestly the time was never going to be right, i just had to go. the class was tiny which i loved, you're not just watching from the back of a room hoping you catch something. working on a live model was nervewracking at first but that's exactly where it all came together for me. i drove in from Mississauga both days and would do it again without hesitating.
